LaSalle College Vancouver is working hard to get students the software they need to complete the coursework in their respective program areas. Instruction for the various software access options are provided in this guide. This page covers Option 1 - Installing software on your own device. Select the software you need from the list below to get instructions on how to get a free or discounted student software license. Please visit Option 2 - Accessing software through a remote desktop for instructions on how to use software on a campus computer remotely through Splashtop, a remote access platform.
If you would like to install a student licensed software onto your own device, select the desired software title from the list to see access instructions.
Please go to the Adobe Creative Cloud for Students and Teachers to get a student rate on a Creative Cloud Suite subscription.
Note: Once you have installed Substance on your computer, it is strongly recommended that you disable "auto-update" in the Create Cloud Desktop App. If you do not, your version of Substance will become out of sync with that of the Substance installed on campus workstations. Here are instructions on disabling auto-update and installing previous versions of your Creative Cloud apps.
Students and educators can get free one-year educational access to Autodesk products and services, renewable as long as you remain eligible. To create your account:
